Theodore & Mary Jane Gilbert 1895-1949Theodore was the Vice President of Gilbert Paper Co. The company was founded by his father William H. Gilbert. By 1895, Gilbert Paper was a large company allowing Theodore and his brothers to live in large houses in Neenah. Theodore passed away in 1923 and Mary Jane continued living in the house until her death in 1949.

Gordon Gill and family 1952-1983 |
Gill lived in the house with his wife, Mary Catherine, and his eight children, Gordon Jr., Gregory, Daniel, Garret, Kevin, Judy, Elisabeth, and Katie. Mr. Gill was an attorney who founded the Gill and Gill law firm. He was a counter espionage agent for the government during World War II. Mrs. Gill played piano and also ran a fashion consulting business from the home. Mr. Gill moved to Appleton after the death of his wife in 1982.
